"Cheyenne"

Until this weekend I had never seen this show. The Decades channel has been showing it all weekend. Good Western. Reading about Clint Walker on Wikipedia it was clear he would have been a perfect Sackett in a movie.

he stood 6 feet, 6 inches tall with a 48-inch chest and a 32-inch waist

That's very similar to the descriptions that LL used in his stories. Wide shoulders, slim hips. Too bad he couldn't have been in a Sackett or other LL movie.

Always thought he’d have made an awesome Tarzan.

That's true too. He'd have been good in a John Wayne movie. There weren't too many men bigger than the Duke.

And the old boy lived to be 90 years old.
He wasn't the best actor but was good in most things he did.

He had three marriages, each of which lasted for 20 years or more. Divorced, widowed, and his own death ended the last one.
60 years of marriage. Just, wow.
