Cowboy Joe is originally from Texas where everything out there is bigger and better than anywhere else. That point was brought home dramatically when Joe‘s wife gave birth to their son.
He was drinking in a New York bar when he gets a call on his cell phone. He hangs up, grinning from ear to ear, and orders a round of drinks for everybody in the bar, announcing his wife had a typical Texas baby boy weighing 20 pounds.
Nobody can believe that any newborn can weigh in at 20 pounds, but Cowboy Joe just shrugs, "That’s about average where I come from, pilgrim.” Congratulations shower him, and many exclaim, "WOW" at the baby's size...one woman at the end of the bar faints due to sympathy pains.
Two weeks later Joe returns to the bar.
The bartender says, "Hey! You're the father of the baby that weighed 20 pounds at birth. Everybody's been making bets about how much he'd weigh in two weeks. So tell us what does he weigh now?"
Cowboy Joe answers, "He's weighs fifteen pounds."
The bartender's puzzled, and a little suspicious. "How's that possible when he weighed 20 pounds at birth?"
Joe takes a long swig of Budweiser, wipes his lips on his shirt sleeve, leans into the bartender and proudly says, "We had him circumcised!"
