"LL and Stephen King...for Beau"


          

In years past I've read Stephen King make a few comments regard LL, always very warm (at least what I've seen).

Did your Dad ever meet or correspond with King?

They never met but they did correspond and send autographed books to one another. King had a similar literally relationship with Bruce Springsteen. I've no idea if they ever met but he was clued into the world of the popular culture of the 1980s.

I believe that Dad and SK both admired one another's accomplishments. There are very few who really understand what it takes to have a career like they have had ... except someone else who has done it too.
