Well, after 12 years near a river in rural Maryland, 8 years in the suburbs of a major city, a year in a combat zone, six months in a top secret facility, twenty years in the suburbs between DC and Baltimore and thirty years of living in the flat lands of Florida, I am in the process of moving to a mountain in West Virginia. The best part of that is we’ll be within walking distance of the Appalachian Trail. Storm (my cat) and I will be there by Saturday. The last mountain I lived on was in California, so this will be a bit different, and the area has a lot of wildlife, mountain lion, bear, coyote, wolves and so forth. Not so much on the mountain I will be on, but more so on more desolate mountains nearby. You never know what you’ll run into on what I call Jeb’s mountain...my brother in-law is Jeb. I will be posting pictures on my Facebook page once I get settled. From fall to spring you can see all the way to Charlestown, which is the largest town for miles. The LL collection is packed, including my leatherette collection, so off we go...
