"Question for Beau"

Beau, I have several LL short stories printed by "Sabre Press" dated December 2019. One is "In Victorio's Country" and another is "Jackson of Horntown". Both of these are also in Bantam collection of short stories -- Volume 3.

Are these legal or infringement of copyright laws?

No they are not. If they were we'd have stopped it!

Those were stories sold to certain magazines and the contracts/copyright situation was different in those days.

If you have early copies of Dutchman's Flat or Hills of Homicide, LL includes his own personal opinions of the practice alluded to above. I especially enjoyed his Historical Note in DF entitled Bloodsucking Ticks. I should go back and reread those, myself.
