Hi all. I'm new here, and just wanted to say hello before posting anything else. I came to Louis a bit late (I was 30) when I inherited my grandmother's collection of his books. Curiosity led me to pick up A Man Called Noon and I enjoyed it. Then I read Kilkenny and I was hooked. Since then (I'm 46 now) I've read almost all of the novels and a great many of the short stories. Anyway, it's good to be here.

You'll enjoy the discussions,so any question is dealt with promptly and courteously. So haere mai from New Zealand. Les The English Language is weird. It can be understood through tough thorough thought though.

Welcome, We are a diverse group and would like to hear more about your interests. I am in Tennessee and besides LL, I have a hobby of building and racing model sailboats, without motors, just the wind with sails controlled by remote. I have read all 122 books by LL: some several times.

Maybe I should try that. I recently spent 10 days in hospital because of my cellulitis and sepsis. But also I think present apartment may be the cause. My sister has me staying with her for now while I look for a better place. But that's okay, they treat me like a king. 😁
