I was named after a character in one of Louis L'Amour's novels. My mother kept the book for years, but she has passed away and I cannot find the book that contains the character that is my namesake. Does anyone have information on this book?

As an avid reader the name did not ring a bell so I checked the Character register in the Hal Hall bibliography (What I consider to be the best source for this type of information) and the closest I could find was a character Neiss in the Novel Lonely Men. Sorry I could not be of more help.
