"Louis L'Amour Top Reads?"

Hello everyone,

I recently acquired my grandfathers Louis L'Amour books and I was wondering what your guys' top picks to read are. I plan on eventually reading them all, but are there any in particular are must reads/is there a particular/suggested order to read them?

Thanks for reading my question!

I just finished Man From The Broken Hills. I have read about 30 LL books and I would put this one up with some of his best work. It was very suspenseful and kept me wanting to read more and more until all was resolved by the end of the book.

My personal favorites are The Walking Drum, The Lonesome Gods, Last of the Breed, The Haunted Mesa, and the first four books in the Sackett series. Its safe to say you could pick up any of his books and by the time you are on the last page youll wish it wasnt ending!
