I just learned that Mr. L’amours novel, “Flint” will be made into an upcoming movie starring actor Josh Holloway. Production is set to begin later this year and the lead actor seems very excited to take part in it. He says he is a big fan of the novel and of Louis L’amours other works. I’m extremely excited for this and grateful to Beau and others who are keeping these amazing books relevant today. Id love to see “The walking drum” or the “Sackett” series made into films as well! How cool would that be?

Fingers crossed. With any luck this will be the first of a number of films of growing size and scope, but ... I NEVER consider these things real until they start shooting, and even then it can be a bit iffy!
