"Beau L'Amour"

Hi! Been a big fan of your dad's books for over thirty years or so.
I collect paperback covers and orig. paperback artwork. My question is if there is a list of sorts of who the many artists were that painted the covers for the paperbacks. I'm specifically interested in the artwork of Carl Hantman. Two examples of Hantman covers are the older version of Mustang Man (cowboy w/ rifle slung across the back of his shoulders) and the newer version of Silver Canyon (rider chasing a horse down a canyon; this is a nice wrap around cover). As you can see, his painting style changed somewhat from the 60's to the 80's. I suspect Matagorda, The Californios and High Lonesome maybe his as well but don't know for sure.
Also know Frank McCarthy painted a number of the covers as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thks! Eric

Sorry but there isn't a list. I keep learning more and more, in fact you may have taught me something or at least given me a lead that I can check into. As you know a lot of the art is uncredited and often the originals have vanished from the earth, back in "the day" this stuff was kind of disposable, the only thing that mattered was collecting the check from the publisher and then the artist moved on.
