Reread several LL books in the last couple of weeks. Never gets old. Like an old friend.

I just read Crossfire Trail recently. I go through periods where I don't read as much. Usually I''' alternate a LL book with one from someone else. (Not Western, his are the only Westerns I read)

Same with me although I have been thinking of trying a Longmire novel. I liked the television series of that name. He seemed like a character LL might have created.

Ep and john, I have read two Elmer Kelton books this week. I also never thought much of reading non-LL. westerns, but these were good. However, I did get ‘The Man From the Broken Hills’ today at McKay’s used books. Always ready ro read them again!
