"Crossfire Trail"

Just finished reading this yesterday, then just now finished the movie. I've read it at some point in the past, and I've seen the movie too, but it's been several years since then. It's always strange to see Mark Harmon as a bad guy. haha The movie does a pretty good job of using the basics of the story, though I prefer the book, of course. The sad thing about Tom Selleck growing older is that he probably won't be making any more Westerns, even though Clint Eastwood has one out now at 91. I guess he and Barry Corbin could get together and make another, though I it's not likely. You could always count on him to make a good Western.

Tom Selleck, Sam Elliott, Clint Eastwood, and the Duke. I know there have been many others who made good westerns but these four are at the top of my list.

Yep, as far as stars go, they're as good as it gets.
