Pages 56 and 57 the wagon that the Vernes and others are traveling in is referred to as a STAGE.
3rd Para " Stay by the stage son"
Para 4 "No one else left the stage."
Last sentence on page 56 reverts to Wagon "When the wagon was moving again" this continues until the last sentence on page 57
"My father moved to the back of the stage and slid to the ground."
