I've been trying to cast the character Will Reilly but I can't get it right. The character would have to be very personable, and of course at the same time very tough. The closest I've come is James Garner, but he's gone. I'm thinking someone alive and active today. So everyone give it a shot if you would. P.S. Wasn't that a great story!

Need to think younger than Garner, (Will was probably in his mid to late 30's at the start of the story. (Even Selleck is probably too old) How about Bailey Chase who played Branch in the Longmire series?

Les The English Language is weird. It can be understood through tough thorough thought though.

I was thinking of Garner in his Maverick days when he had black hair a d was fit. His personality was spot on for WR. Chase isn't right because he hasn't enough of the likeability factor and just too scary. A Darn good actor though. He'd probably be a great Hondo.

I put on a post answer earlier but it disappeared. I'LL try again. I was thinking of Garner when he played Maverick and had black hair and was fit. His personality was PERFECT for WR. Your pick was a good actor but I feel he comes across as too scary, I feel. He would be better as Hondo, perhaps, IMHO.

Double checked and that WAS Chris Pine that was in the movie Hell or High Water. Great acting, I thought. Great movie, especially the ending and his interaction with Jeff Bridges on the porch.
