I'm glad I was able to see him in concert once, Spring 2014. He did a free concert at the festival in my hometown in TN. Was actually within walking distance of my home, which was nice. I don't really listen to country music, but I was surprised by how many of his songs I recognized. I guess it makes sense. You can't avoid country music living in TN, whether you choose to listen to it or not. haha Great entertainer and patriot.
