If by Hollywood beauty you mean a well known actress then the answer is yes, certainly ... although I actually believe that many famous performers are deemed to be "beautiful" BECAUSE they are famous, not really because they are exactly beautiful. This is true of many actresses but it is ESPECIALLY true of actors.
It's true of the many of the best known models too. When I was working around advertising, I always thought that the young women who did local newspaper adds and soap commercials were much better looking than the so called supermodels, many of whom just looked odd. Especially in person. At certain times photographers have liked models with oddly flat faces (not that they looked that way in pictures) because they could shoot very shallow depth of field shots without getting part of the face out of focus. I'm guessing that you'll still never see a make up model with a long nose for this reason.
A great many actors/actresses aren't all that "attractive" just because they are kind of neurotic and don't really turn the exciting parts of their personality on until they have a role or public appearance. When you see an actor on something like a talk show you should consider that as much a performance and as unlike their real personality as any role they might play.
For example I've been around (as opposed to knowing or being friends with) Al Pacino on a few occasions. For an actor with a HUGE presence on screen he is nearly a non-entity in person. He does his thing, which is performing when the lights go up. He doesn't have the same energy, or waste any energy, or something, when there is no paycheck.
