Had a specialist appointment yesterday and the surgeon advised that my hernia needed repairing sooner rather than later. It's not giving me any problems but it is larger than expected so surgery is being scheduled in the next 12 weeks or so. This means the big trip I planned for May to August is off the books for this year. Not allowed to fly for 4-6 weeks post surgery clearance so that's the next 18 - 20 weeks stuffed. There's always 2021.:7
