Was spending a few minutes just scrolling through old posts and saw this. I don't know if you have the Grit TV channel in your area, but it frequently shows Audie Murphy movies. I watched part of one Sunday night. They also show a lot of Randolph Scott and John Wayne movies.
I noticed a couple of weekends ago that early in the morning they're playing John Wayne B movies that have been (badly) colorized. Strangely the audio seems rerecorded also. It may have just been cleaned up and kinda screwed up at the same time, but it sounds almost like someone imitating the actors rather than their real voices. And the audio and video are also not quite synced up. It's weird.
