I think it’s been at least 12 years since my last post. Good to still see a few familiar faces!

It’s been a while since I’ve had time for pleasure reading. For the last four years, I’ve been working towards a PhD in chemistry. I recently started re-reading Comstock Load though and forgot how great of a storyteller Louis L’Amour was. While some of his characters may have been a little static, his books are packed with a deep sense of adventure, historical realism, and even wisdom. He really knew how to take you back in time and move a plot forward with gripping detail.
