What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie?

The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing;
Rush in and die dogs--I was a man before I was a king!

   if you type lakota indian wake for an indian warrior http://www.usace.army.mil/CECW/TribalIssues/Documents/ind_warrior.pps
you should be able to find it and click to download the power point presentation
Man this was memorable
I remember seeing this via an e-mail sent to me around 5 years ago
Lots of heart wrenching visual imagery presentation of a traditional 3 day wake for a 22 year old Marine named "Lone Eagle" Brett Lundstrom killed in war in Iraq January 7th 2006 at Fallujah; his uncle danced and banged a drum slowly, honoring him; he had a guard posted at attention over his huge 30 foot teepee, relatives, Pine Ridge Reservation area of South Dakota, friends, veterans, acquaintances, and those bereaved expressed their condolenses
The flute or ocarina music and that horse drawn carriage was haunting

   I checked it out. Very touching and very neat. I am a former Marine and I salute him! There was no sound though. Would liked to have head it.

   Amazing grace on an Indian Flute is wonderful.

I have "I need thee every hour" on flute as well and hearing a European Hymn in this manner shows we can cross divides.
