   I'm sorry to hear about the surgeries but glad to know Bert is recuperating so well. Like everyone else, I look forward to seeing him back on the forum.

   Sadly, no. ... Too bad Mike isn't still around. He was fairly close to Bert and Mrs. Martha, I believe.
It's hard to believe that no one else here can get in touch with Bert. He's had many friends here. .. I e-mailed him, but have recieved no amswer.
I think I have an old phone number around. I'll wait a few more days before I try it.
Keep your fingers crossed!

P.S. On a happier note, American Idol finali is GREAT tonight!!!

   Les, just contacted me about the concern about Bert and Martha. I just got off the phone with Martha a few minutes ago. She and Bert are both doing okay for a couple of 85 year old adventurers. Bert's had a couple of setbacks...a couple of surgeries that have left him weak, but he is still the same old Bert otherwise...still alert and as quick of mind as ever. Bert and Martha send their love to everyone at the forum and appreciate everyone's concern. He hopes to be able to join in the discussions as soon as he gets his strength back.
