Gas seep is the same thing I thought of as i was reading it. Not sure what else it could be unless they'd all been poisoned by the same thing. Of course, it coulda been aliens.

Any of you ever watch Ancient Aliens...very interesting. Have had several episodes of happenings in the Old West which piqued my interest. Who knows what happened back then.
I'm hearing Twilight Zone theme....do do do do

Happy March everybody....

I've seen parts of a couple episodes but I've never seen any dealing with the West. Sounds interesting.

Far rider, yep, I agree with you! Couldn't have been illness, not all at the exact same time. So I think it was some sort of gas. Remember that gas that came up out of that lake in South America and killed 1500 people or so during the night? It was a mystery until they figured out about the gas.

Or Aliens!! LOL!

Just like Epeterd and Far Rider, gas seep was my first thought while reading the account of what was discovered.
